Microblading Eyebrows Post-Care:
✔ Wash face with makeup wipes so no water drips on the brows
✔ After 10 days, once the area has healed completely, consider using sunblock when going out in the sun to stop the color from fading.

✘ MICROBLADING EYEBROWS IS A "DRY HEAL" DO NOT GET WET, AND NO SWEATING FOR 10 DAYS
✘ DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss!
✘ COMPLETELY avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after your procedure.  Direct sunlight can cause the pigment to change color while it is healing and can also cause hyper pigmentation and scarring.
✘ Avoid pool, sauna, steam rooms, steamy hot showers and/or steamy hot baths for 3 weeks.
✘ Avoid sweating for a full 10 days. Any physical effort, gym, hot weather, any other activity that may cause sweating through or on the brows will cause the "hairstrokes" to blur under the skin, there is no fixing this.
✘ Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken for 2 weeks after your procedure.
✘ Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels and Microderms around the brow area once healed.
✘ Avoid sleeping on your face/brows for the first 10 days.
✘ NO makeup or skincare products to be used on the treated area for two weeks.
✘ NO facials, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
✘AVOID ANY SKINCARE THAT HAS THE WORDS "ACID" "RETIN A" "GLYCOL" ON THE AREA TREATED! Look in your foundations and primers too, its in things that say "long lasting" or "Forever"

EYEBROWS- Typical Effects
Day1-2 The eyebrows are approximately 30 to 40% darker and bolder in width than they will be when healed. Your skin is red under the pigment which causes the color of the pigment to appear darker. There is some swelling, although difficult to see due to the thickness of the skin in the eyebrow area. This will subside. Exfoliation, which begins in a few days, will cause the excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow procedure to flake away and a more narrow appearance will result. New skin will heal over the pigmented area and result in a softer appearance of your eyebrows. Don’t be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker and heavier in size than you desire. This is all part of the process.
Day3 Eyebrows will start to itch and will appear a bit thicker in texture. Natural exfoliation begins., do not exfoliate yourself.
Day4 The skin begins to flake- peeling from the outside edges first.
Day5 Color finishes flaking off and appears softer and greyer for 8 weeks until color clarifies.

TOPICAL ANAESTHETICS
Local topical anaesthetic cream is used during your procedure. It is both for client comfort and also to constrict the blood flow which leads to a better result.

We are unable to supply clients with topical anaesthetic cream as it is deemed to be a medication. Clients will need to order their own pre procedure numbing cream and during procedure numbing solution and pay for it themselves as part of their own cost. We can provide the order form once an appointment has been scheduled and confirmed via deposit. It needs to be ordered ASAP to allow for manufacturing time and also post from our supplier. The parcel will arrive at our studio and be stored in the fridge until you're appointment. DO NOT APPLY ANY NUMBING TREATMENT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AT OUR STUDIO.

PRE CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• It is recommended to eat something before your appointment to make sure your blood

sugar levels stay stable during the procedure.

• No excessive alcohol or caffeine consumption 24 hours before your procedure. Alcohol and

caffeine can thin the blood, which causes the skin to be hypersensitive, and bleed/bruise

more easily.

• Avoid sun tanning one week prior to the procedure.

• Avoid blood thinning medications for 24 hours before the procedure. This includes Aspirin,

Niacin (Vitamin B3), Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen, fish oils tablets. Please consult your

physician if this is an issue.

• Eyelash extensions should be removed 3 days prior to the procedure.

• No eyelash perm and/or tinting at least 3 days prior.

• Discontinue Retin-A one week prior to the procedure.

• No Botox around the eye area 2 weeks prior.

• Eyelash growth serums like Latisse bring extra circulation to the lash line area which results

in more growth of hair/lashes. This can cause the skin to be hypersensitive and bleed

easily. It is recommended to discontinue the use of these products at least 3-6 months

before your treatment.

• Do not wear any eye makeup on the day of your appointment.

• If you wear contact lenses, please wear glasses on the day of your appointment.

• Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Splash your eyes with water and wash off any pigment residue immediately after the procedure.

Pat dry gently with a clean tissue.

• Wash the skin around the eyes twice a day (morning & night) using a gentle, unscented soap

(Cetaphil or baby shampoo). Use your fingertips to cleanse gently and pat dry with a clean tissue.

• Apply ointment 2-3 times a day for up to 7 days for thick eyeliner (OMIT FOR LASH LINE

ENHANCEMENT).

• Scabs will take about 7 -10 days to peel off. Do not pick at the scabs or peel them off prematurely.

• Swelling and redness is normal for the first few days.

• Slight stinging sensation in the first few days is also normal.

• The colour will fade approximately 30-50% lighter when the scabs fall off. This is completely

normal. Do not feel discouraged if the fading is more than you expected.

• To achieve the perfect eyeliner, we need to see how your skin accepts the initial application and a

touch-up appointment is where we will perfect the shape and colour.

• No eye makeup is allowed until the scabs completely fall off.

• Avoid sweaty exercises such as hot saunas, hot yoga, and swimming until the scabbing comes off.

SCABBING

• The eyeliner will start to form scabs and they might look dark and thick. As the skin heals, the

scabs will fall off in random pieces and might look patchy.

• Flaking and crusting on the tattoo area may occur.

• Avoid pulling off the scabs that are dried on the lashes.

• When you try to pull off the scabs that are hanging on your lashes, ensure the scabs are soft

enough to slide off from the lashes. Use a mascara brush to help remove the scabs.

SWELLING

• Swelling occurs up to 3 days after the procedure, especially in the morning.

• Exercising the eyes can help reduce swelling and puffiness. Try blinking actively for 2 minutes in the

morning.

• To relieve swelling, you can ice the area with soft gel ice packs.
